Al Jefferson was selected to the 2004 USA Men's Junior National Select Team that beat the World Select Team 99-79 at the 7th Hoop Summit. Jefferson scored 13 points (5-11 FGs), grabbed five offensive boards and totaled seven rebounds overall in the win. Jefferson also participated in 2003 USA Basketball Junior National Team Trials.
The Hoop Summit, featured Americas' top senior boy high school players taking on a World Select Team comprised of the world's top players who were 19-years-old or younger, and was played under international rules. |
